Due to the devastation of COVID-19 and 2 hurricanes, in Guatemala, there was no group of volunteers sent in 2021. Instead, three of our board members traveled to Esquipulas, Guatemala to assess the damage and also volunteer their time in the community by passing out food and supplies to those in need. Almost all of our AMOS medications and supplies that are kept at Fundación Quique Cerón were lost. We had to start from scratch and collect all new medications and supplies before our next trip in 2022. Due to the overwhelming generosity of others, we were able to recover enough medications and supplies through donations (monetary and otherwise). In fact, because of the incredible kindness of others, we were able to donate thousands of dollars to the QCF and the Foodbank of NWI this year. Together, we make a difference!!
